Encare is developing and distributing/licensing a cloud-based software platform including clinical protocols for perioperative care. The clinical protocols are based on published guidelines by the ERAS® Society including best practices within healthcare for patients undergoing major surgery. Several studies show that hospital clinics complying with the published guidelines, i.e. by registering, measuring, and analyzing data, are able to significantly improve patient outcomes by lowering the risk for complications/number of complications, lowering hospital stay, and in parallel increasing satisfaction among hospital staff.
